The performance is a masterclass inoriginalcinematic visualsand live music,blendingrare acoustic and electronic instrumentswithbreathtaking video projections. Venuti, a veteran of both East and West Coastmusic sceneswith many years of touring, uses live-loopingwith a highly expressive synthesized wind-instrument and a gamut of rare acoustic and electronic instruments tobuild lusharrangements andpropulsive groovesto create an improvised soundtrack.The visual narrative is equally grand: audiences will travel from the remote, majestic terrains of the United States—filmed by Venutihimselfduring his tours andNational Parkresidencies—to the deep reaches of the galaxyand an exploration of Earth from above, courtesy ofstunning imagery from NASA and theJames Webb Telescope.
